Uncanny X-Mas!

This Marvel Subscription ad imposed Santa hats onto Marc Silvestri's X-Men.  I'm not sure what this image was originally produced for, but I'm fairly certain it was used on a coffee mug.  The image at bottom was taken from a comic produced for Marvel's stockholders.  There's some horrible photoshopping on Rogue's head because part of her face and hair was missing in the original publication.
Merry X-Mas, mutants!

Wolverine and Rogue

This commission may be one of the only times John Byrne drew Rogue, and probably the only time in the Jim Lee designed costume.

Rogue Unpublished Series

According to Carlo Pagulayan's Deviantart page:
An unsused cover for the series Rogue.
Had several pages drawn when they decided to put in on hold and think of a different direction for the character.
This was a few months before Emma Frost

Uncanny X-Men 173 Week

Here's an unused cover sketch for Uncanny X-Men #173 by Paul Smith.
Update:  Gerry Turnbull has informed me that this piece is a convention sketch, and not an unused cover!

And here's the final cover that saw print.

X-Treme Unpublished

X-Treme X-Men had planned to have a series of 6 covers that joined to form one large image.  While Bishop, Sage, Storm, and Cannonball appeared on the covers for issues 20, 21, 22, and 24, the covers for Gambit and Rogue were never published.

Oddly enough, the Gambit cover did appear on the Amazon listing for the

X-Treme X-Men Volume 6: Intifada trade paperback, although it was not used for the cover.

To date, the Rogue art has not been used anywhere, but finally Salvador Larroca's original art can be seen here!

JR Sr Sketch

I have no idea what this piece by John Romita Sr. was used for, but it's nice to see his rendition of  Marvel characters after the Silver Age.
