The Former X-Men
This parody of X-Men #142 was printed in Spider-Woman #36 without explanation. The art is by Jim Salicrup and inked by Terry Austin, who did the original cover for #142.

Days of Future Past - Two Takes
We're concluding a week of Days of Future Past art with a look at two commissions by John Byrne, one is a reinterpretation of the classic cover to Uncanny X-Men 141, and the other is a direct recreation of the original art.

Days of Future Passed
Here's the cover for The Uncanny X-Men bookshelf edition of Days of Future Past by Jackson Guice, offering a different angle of the action.
On a side note, Classic X-Men did not reprint the Days of Future Past storyline due to this book's release around the same time.

Days of Future Past Revisited
With the X-Men: Days of Future Past movie coming out next year, I thought I would feature some of the covers that were inspired by the original cover for Uncanny X-Men 141 by John Byrne and Terry Austin, which can be seen below:
Finally, there's this Wizard cover by John Cassaday that follows the look of the original very closely.
Check back later this week for more Days of Future Past art, and check out this post for another interpretation:

Days of Future Past
This art, credited below as the cover of a Days of Future Past TPB, originally appeared as the "chromium" cover art to Marvel Collectible Classics #2, which reprinted Uncanny X-Men #141 and #142. All apologies for the quality of the scans, but these are far better than the "chromium" cover itself, which does not photograph well.
