New Mutants Inventory Cover
Art by Bob Layton and Jack Abel. From comicartfans.com:
"It was an inventory cover. At that time, alot of the books had generic covers on file,in case there was ever a problem. After Jack had his stroke, a lot of us created work for him while he recovered. That cover was one of them. I'm not sure if it was ever published or not,but it's rare because I seldom allowed anyone else to ink my pencils. Jack was a dear friend and colleague who goes back with me to my early days at Continuity Associates."

A very different Juggernaut
This take on Juggernaut was done by Jack Kirby many years after he stopped drawing X-Men, and gives us a peek at how things might have been if he stayed on the book.
The sketch was printed in "Jack Kirby's Heroes and Villains." From www.whatifkirby.com:
"In the early to mid 1970's, Jack Kirby drew a sketchbook of characters he created and gifted it to his wife, Roz Kirby. In 1987, thanks to Roz Kirby and Greg Theakston, the sketchbook was printed in the hardcover book, "Jack Kirby's Heroes and Villains." It was complete until it was taken a part and individual pages were sold in the mid 2000s."

X-Men T-Shirt
This image was produced for what may have been the first X-Men t-shirt, which was offered for sale in X-Men #12. The image itself was not published until it was used as a pin-up in X-Men #74. Writer (and former Kirby assistant) Mark Evanier was kind enough to confirm that the art was by Jack Kirby and Chic Stone. Check out his blog for tons of Jack Kirby stories, and tons of great articles in general! http://www.newsfromme.com/?s=jack+kirby
